RAYMOND JAMES WELCOMES PENNSYLVANIA ADVISOR TEAMMANAGING $580 MILLION IN ASSETS
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Brian Heberle, Dustin Helm, John Ferguson and Craig Cacini, CFP®, to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel – in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, according to Bill Theis, Mid-American regional director for RJA.
Operating as Heberle Helm Ferguson Group of Raymond James, the advisors are joined by client service associates Leslie J. Hewitt, FPQP® and Jeffrey Weaverling. The team previously managed $580 million in client assets with Wells Fargo, serving business owners, corporate executives, and families, among other clientele. The team’s transition marks the opening of RJA’s first office location in Monroeville, within its Pittsburgh Complex, led by Randel “Randy” G. Morris, CFP®.
“We were attracted to Raymond James by the technology and financial planning tools that will enable us to expand upon and enhance the value we provide to our clients,” said Heberle, managing director, investments.
Heberle began his 26-plus-year career with Wheat First Butcher Singer and in 1998 transitioned to Smith Barney, later acquired by Citigroup, before joining Wells Fargo in 2009. A native of Pennsylvania, he is a graduate of Penn State University.
“The fluid work-life and time-saving technology provided by Raymond James will allow our team to better serve clients, regardless of time of day or location,” said Helm, senior vice president, investments. “We’ve already seen a significant boost to our team’s workflow through flexible access to secure home workstations, as well as easy-to-use tools for managing multiple orders and those enhancing our visibility into connected client accounts.”
Helm has been in the financial services industry for nearly 30 years. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Dustin’s first five-plus years in financial services began at Shearson Lehman EF Hutton in 1993. He then served clients for more than 23 years at Smith Barney and Wells Fargo Advisors before aligning with Raymond James in 2022.
“We are so delighted to be working with a great firm with a stellar reputation and a ‘client-first‘ culture throughout the entire organization,” said Ferguson, senior vice president, investments. “Our group has an overall sense of independence with our investment choices and the support of product specialists to make certain we are addressing the specific, customized needs of our clients.”
Boasting more than 36 years of experience in the financial services industry, Ferguson has held positions at a number of firms, including a 10-year-tenure at Smith Barney and, most recently, 13 years at Wells Fargo. He is a graduate of Penn State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in finance.
“The enhanced technology, marketing and service support of Raymond James allows us to utilize our time to cater to specific client needs and further strengthen our ability to guide them to their individual financial goals,” said Cacini, first vice president, investments.
Originally from Bristol, Indiana, Cacini served as a financial advisor for seven years before joining Raymond James. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional and a graduate of both the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University.
“I’m honored to welcome this exemplary group of advisors and financial professionals to Raymond James and expand our footprint in the Western Pennsylvania market. Their passion for delivering outstanding client service and wealth management outcomes is an excellent addition to the firm,” said Theis.
